My beginnings with G3 Motorsports.

In 2006, I was signed to drive for Team HLM in the Grand-Am series. Team HLM purchased a couple Infiniti G35 race cars from Crawford and it was going to be a few months before the cars were delivered. During this down time, I thought it would be a good idea to get to know the Infiniti dealers in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. As I was doing this, I met the owner of Grubbs Infiniti, George Grubbs III (aka G3). G3 and I hit it off from the beginning. He invited me to the Nissan International Z events at Texas Stadium and the Motorsport Ranch. At the Motorsport Ranch event, George brought out a G35 street car and I gave many people rides. Later that weekend G3 and I discussed putting together a driving experience for his customers. On August 21, 2006, we had our first G3 Driving Experience. The G3 Driving Experience is getting bigger everyday. Once we got the G3 Driving Experience in place, George and I started talking about going racing. We looked at many series and decided that Grand Am would be the best series. We have a long ways to go from here to get a race car on the track and I hope you enjoy following our progress.

Welcome from G3

Well, its official! I want to welcome you to the G3 Motorsports website and our blog.

For the past few years G3 Motorsports has been developing parts, advising owners and hosting driving events for Infiniti and Nissan owners. The time has finally come to put it all together and go racing!

The goal of G3 Motorsports is to be competitive in professional racing. We plan to do this through support of fans and owners, who are our main priority. The way this works is buying products through us and our corporate sponsors. All of our products, the G3 Motorsports Driving Experience and the products of our Corporate Sponsors will help fund our racing program.

Our website will be very interactive. We will be following the race team every step of the way, from building and testing to practice and racing. We also will be testing products and reporting on the findings. Plus we will be constucting a project car and logging that process along the way.

I commit to keeping our site full of information and and easy way to track the team. Your membership will show our sponsors that we have an active following and encourage them to continue their support.
